Sallie was born on September 2nd, 1871 in Mississippi. Sallie's father was Daniel Price and her mother was Laurania Annie Gilbert. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Price and Mary Gunn; her maternal grandparents were John Wesley Gilbert and Sarah Broughton. She had a brother and three sisters, named Thomas, Louisa, Ruby and Dannie. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 95 on September 16th, 1966 in Altus, Jackson, Oklahoma, USA.
