Louise (Lou) Bruton

Louise, known as Lou, was born on October 6th, 1886. Lou's father was William Jasper Bruton and her mother was Mary Louise Goss. Her paternal grandparents were David Bruton and Molina Keaton; her maternal grandparents were William Goss and Mary Ann. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Charles, Tobe, Jesse, Joseph, Edgar, William, Minne, Lilly, Dori and Florence. She died at the age of 52 on February 13th, 1939.

- Louise (Lou) Bruton bd. 6 Oct 1866 - dd.13 Feb 1939 - Married Simon James, a Choctaw Indian. He was a Marshall for the Indian Territory and was killed on the job in Skulleyville. She later married Wallace McMurkay bd. 6 Oct 1866 - dd. 9 Jan 1949, a Choctaw Indian.
