Thomas was born in 1795 in Armley, Yorkshire, England.  Thomas' father was Robert REDSHAW and his mother was Sarah STEAD.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas REDSHAW and Martha BOOTH.  He had four brothers and a sister, named Joseph, William, James, James and Mary.  He was the fourth oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 6 on March 24th, 1801 in Armley, Yorkshire, England.
