Mary was born in 1877 in Salford, Lancashire, England.  Mary's father was Charles CROOK and her mother was Eliza HOLLOWS.  Her paternal grandparents were Francis CROOK and Hannah RHOADES.  She had three brothers and two sisters, named Reuben, Thomas, Charles, Emma and Lydia.  She was the fourth oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 60 in 1937 in Salford, Lancashire, England.
