Thomas' father was Benjamin [Ballyminta] Boyd and his mother was Mary Anne ????. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Archibald, Benjamin, Thomas, Eliza, Charlotte and Rachel.  He was the third youngest of the seven children.  He died on April 16th, 1837.
