Jane's father was John Boyd Jnr and her mother was Margaret Blair. Her paternal grandparents were John Boyd and "Malsey" Gage. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, John, Mary, Rachel, Margaret and Eliza.General Notes

Did their father not approve - both were married in Coleraine Registry Office with no family members as witnesses?
