Mary was born in 1850 in Paisley.1 2   Mary's father was John Tours and her mother was Anne Reid.  Her paternal grandparents were William Tours and Janet Fulton.  She was an only child.  She died from a stroke, Cerebral haemmohrage, duration 5 days, at the age of 68 on October 10th, 1918 in Paisley.3
