George Reid

George was born on June 16th, 1822 in St. Quivox.¹²

George's father was James Reid and his mother was Elizabeth Bell. His paternal grandparents were Adam Reid and Catharine Fulton. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Adam, James, John, Archibald, William, Catherine, Agnes, Elizabeth, Jean, Mary and Mary. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 75 on May 31st, 1898 in Newton-on-Ayr.
