William McMurran 
William was born in 1845 in Newton-on-Ayr.1 2 William's father was John McMurran and his mother was Agnes Robertson. His paternal grandparents were William McMurran and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Robertson and <Unknown>. He had four brothers and two sisters, named James, George, John, Thomas, Alice and Agnes. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia, chronic bronchitis, myocardiac degeneration, senility, at the age of 79 on June 26th, 1924 in Springburn.3 - Death Notes
