Richard McLellan

Richard was born in 1850 in Strathblane and his baptism took place on April 24th, 1850 in Stirlingshire.^1 2

Richard's father was John McLellan and his mother was Agnes Turner.  His maternal grandparents were John Turner and Janet Marshall. He had four brothers and a sister, named Archibald, John, Alexander, Peter and Janet.  He was the youngest of the six children.  He died from cancer, carcinoma of stomach, 1 month, at the age of 52 on May 30th, 1902 in Glasgow.³
