Peter McKay

Peter was born on December 30th, 1822 in Kilbrandon-Kilchattan.

Peter's father was Colin McKay and his mother was Margaret McQueen. His maternal grandparents were John McQueen and Mary Connell. He had a brother and two sisters, named Colin, Ann and Mary. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died due to a medical problem, pthysis (i.e. tuberculosis), duration 4 months, at the age of 51 on August 4th, 1874 in Easdale.¹
