Margaret Marshall

Margaret was born on August 5th, 1796 in Shotts and her baptism took place there in August 1796.^1 2

Margaret's father was James Marshall and her mother was Elizabeth Hamilton.  Her paternal grandparents were James Marshall and Margaret Mitchell; her maternal grandparents were John Hamilton and Elizabeth Fleming. She had four brothers and two sisters, named James, John, Thomas, Richard, Elizabeth and Agness.  Margaret and Agness were twins.  She died at the age of 85 on April 9th, 1882 in Bothwell.
