James Inglis Brown

James was born on March 2nd, 1856 in Uphall.¹

James' father was James Brown and his mother was Marion Gibb. His maternal grandparents were George Gibb and Helen Cunningham. He had three brothers and five sisters, named William, George, Archibald, Helen, Elizabeth, Janet, Jessie and Marion. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 61 on January 8th, 1918 in Edinburgh. He was buried in Edinburgh.
