Elspie Bone

Elspie was born in 1854 in St. Quivox.¹   Elspie's father was David Bone and her mother was Susan Hammond.  Her paternal grandparents were David Bone and Margaret Smith. She had six brothers and five sisters, named William, David, John, William, James, Thomas, Agness, Margaret, Elisabeth, Elisabeth and Susannah.  She was the second youngest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 17 in 1871 in Ayr.
