Helen Bishop 
Helen was born in 1867 in Whitburn.1 Helen's father was William Bishop and her mother was Agnes Pollock Paterson. Her maternal grandparents were Alexander Paterson and Helen Roberts. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Ebenezer, Alexander, William, John, James, Helen and Marion. She was the oldest of the eight children.-
