Helen Bell

Helen was born in July 1670 in Abercorn and her baptism took place there on July 20th, 1670.¹   Helen's father was John Bell and her mother was Elspeth Ramsay.  Her paternal grandparents were John Bell and Margrat Glen. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named James, John, John, William, Thomas, Bartlay, Peter, Margaret, Jennet, Elspeth and Margaret.  She was the third youngest of the twelve children.
