William Aitkine

William was born in 1677 in Kirkliston and his baptism took place there on February 18th, 1677.  William's father was John Aikman and his mother was Agnes Bapty. He had three brothers and a sister, named David, John, Thomas and Janet.  He was the oldest of the five children.
