John Aitkine

John was born in 1681 in Kirkliston and his baptism took place there on February 27th, 1681.  John's father was John Aikman and his mother was Agnes Bapty. He had three brothers and a sister, named William, David, Thomas and Janet.  He was the third oldest of the five children.
