Franz Josef von Sauer 
Franz was born on October 11th, 1737 in Pontafel.1 Franz's father was Franz Anton von Sauer and his mother was Maria Pauline Schretzmayr. His maternal grandparents were Paul Schretzmayr and Maria Schuster. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Martin, Alois, Johann, Thadaus, Johann, Anna and Maria. He was the oldest of the eight children.-
