Catharina Ruzsa

Catharina was born in 1787 in Nagytétény and her baptism took place on September 23rd, 1787 at Nagytétény Catholic Church.¹   Her godfather was Jacobus Vurmann and her godmother was Catharina Obermeyer.

Catharina's father was Bartholomaus Ruzsa and her mother was Theresia Harmischfeger.  Her paternal grandparents were Jacobus Ruzsa and Catharina Süköszi; her maternal grandparents were Michael Harmischfeger and Elisabetha Demerin.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 87 on January 8th, 1874 in Nagytétény.  The funeral took place in 1874 and was arranged by Fr János Károly.^1 1
