Hans Gunderson 
Hans was born on March 24th, 1901 in Olga, North Dakota. Hans' father was Sven Gundersen (Gunderson) and his mother was Gurine (Gertrude) Madsen (Peterson). His paternal grandparents were Gunnar Svendsen (Forberg) and Helge Hansdtr (Torstveit); his maternal grandparents were Unknown Norway and Unknown Norway. He had two sisters named Ida and Annie. He was the oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Big Gunder, Helen? and Hilda. He died from cancer, Prostate Cancer, at the age of 55 on October 14th, 1956 in Snoqualmie, Washington. He was buried at the Mount Si Memorial Cemetery.- Death Notes

- My father (Boyd) told me that Hans was a farmer and that when he died (when Leo was around 14-15?) was around the time and possibly the impetus for the Gundersons to move to Washington state.
From 1951 his occupation was Unknown in agriculture for Weyerhauser. He died in 1956 while still employed there.1 - Occupation Notes
