Annie was born on August 10th, 1809 in Glassary, Argyll, Scotland.  Annie's father was Robert McKELLAR and her mother was Catharine. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Archibald, Duncan, John, Hugh, Donald, Margaret, Mary, Mary and Flory.  Annie and Donald were twins.
