John Owens MIRANDA (MERANDA)

John was born in 1782 in Washington, PA USA.¹ John's father was James MIRANDA (MERANDA) and his mother was Susannah OWENS. His paternal grandparents were Samuel MIRANDA (MERANDA) and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were John OWENS and <Unknown>. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, James, Isaac, Thomas, Jonathan and Elizabeth. He was the fifth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 65 on February 21st, 1847 in Scott Cty, IA USA. His burial was in Austin Cemetery, Austin, Indiana USA.²²
