Samuel MERANDA

Samuel was born in 1768 in Westmoreland City, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.¹ Samuel's father was James MIRANDA (MERANDA) and his mother was Susannah OWENS. His paternal grandparents were Samuel MIRANDA (MERANDA) and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were John OWENS and <Unknown>. He had four brothers and two sisters, named James, Isaac, Thomas, John, Jonathan and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 81 on August 14th, 1849 in German, Pike County, Ohio.¹
