James Samuel ALLEN

James was born on February 21st, 1801.¹ James' father was Samuel ALLEN and his mother was Ellen SCALES. His paternal grandparents were Valentine ALLEN and Nancy Anne ARNOLD. He had three brothers named William, Nathaniel and William. He died at the age of 45 on October 15th, 1846. The funeral took place in Wentworth, Rockingham County, North Carolina, USA. His burial was in Ellington Cemetery.¹¹
