Valentine ALLEN

Valentine was born on April 29th, 1730 in St James Parish, Henrico, Virginia, United States.¹ Valentine's father was William ALLEN and his mother was Mary Hunt MINZE. His paternal grandparents were William ALLEN and Ann Abigail HUDSON; his maternal grandparents were William HUNT and Tabitha Edlo. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William, John, George, Phillip, Ann, Mary, Susanna and Mary. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Samuel, Judith , Hannah and Joyce. He died at the age of 69 on September 17th, 1799 in Rockingham, North Carolina, United States. His burial was in Madison, Rockingham County, North Carolina, USA.²¹
