Alexander Boyd was born on May 5th, 1813 in Flemingsburg, KY.  Alexander Boyd's father was Alexander Of Drumore  Steen and his mother was Agnes Nancy Faris.  His paternal grandparents were Robert Steen and Elizabeth Boyd; his maternal grandparents were Faris and Nancy. He had five brothers and a sister, named Aaron Faris, Robert Wilson, John Work, Josiah Yates, others and Rebecca Ann.  He died at the age of 82 on March 3rd, 1896 in Winchester, OH.
