William Marshall

William was born on August 23rd, 1820 in Stokes Co., NC. William's father was Martin Marshall and his mother was Margaret Snyder. His paternal grandparents were William Marshall and Mary Connally Connerly. He had five brothers named Peter C, James, Martin, Elias and Isaac. He was the oldest of the six children.
