Martin Marshall

Martin was born on December 7th, 1749 in Calvert County, Maryland.¹ Martin's father was Thomas Marshall III and his mother was Margaret Wells. His paternal grandparents were William Marshall II and Mary Griffith; his maternal grandparents were Martin Wells and Jane Unknown. He had five brothers named William F, Henry, Thomas, Benjamin Franklin and Joseph. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 74 on September 19th, 1824 in Stokes Co, N.C..¹
