Silas E Marshall

Silas E was born on May 22nd, 1853 in Franklin Township, Des Moines Co., Iowa. Silas E's father was Oliver Marshall and his mother was Susannah Edgington. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Marshall and Eleanor Ashenhurst; his maternal grandparents were George Edgington and Mary. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William T, Benjamin, John Taylor, Alexander, Clarinda, Elizabeth, Melinda Ann, Cassandra and Sarah. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 70 on March 4th, 1924.
