Thomas Buffington

Thomas was born about 1784 in Cherokee Nation, Indian Terr.. Thomas' father was Ezekiel Buffington and his mother was Mary Emory (Ani'-Gil�'hi = Twisters, Braids, or Long Hair Clan (Mary Grant)). His paternal grandfather was Thomas Buffington Jr and his paternal grandmother is Mary Harlan; his maternal grandparents were Col William Emory (Cherokee) and Mary Grant (Ani'-Gil�'hi = Twisters, Braids, or Long Hair Clan (Mary Grant)). He had four sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender named Mary, Susannah, Anne, Mary and 6 ch. He had four half-brothers, and also a half-sibling of unknown gender named Ellis, John, Samuel, Samuel and 2 ch. He died in 1812.
