Joseph W Young

Joseph was born in 1886 in Felling, Durham.¹ Joseph's father was Joseph William Young and his mother was Matilda Middleton. His maternal grandparents were Richard Taylor Middleton and Anne Gamble. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Richard, George, Edward, Jane and Ethel. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died as a war casualty at the age of 29 in 1915 in Ypres, Belgium.¹
