Sarah Gamble

Sarah was born in 1874 in Stockport, Cheshire.¹ Sarah's father was George Gamble and her mother was Ellen / Elizabeth Wood. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Gamble and Mary Thorpe; her maternal grandparents were James Wood and Catherine. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, George, Pricilla, Emma, Ann, Mary and Selina. She was the youngest of the eight children.
