Frederick was born on June 18th, 1892 in Staffordshire.1   Frederick's father was Frederick Birch and his mother was Dorothy Ann Lowe.  His paternal grandparents were John Birch and Anne Mould; his maternal grandparents were Elijah Lowe and Ann Dodd.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 81 in 1973 in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.1
