Ceinfryd verch Ednowain 
Ceinfryd was born in 1032 in Llys Y Coed, Cilcain, Flintshire, Wales.1 Ceinfryd's father was Ednowain (Feiniad) ap Cynan and her mother was Gwerfyl verch Llydocca. She had seven brothers named Madog, Goronwy, Blettrws, Rotpert, Maredydd, Gwyn and Gruffydd. She was the third youngest of the eight children.
