Madog ap Ednowain 
Madog was born in 1022 in Llys Y Coed, Cilcain, Flintshire, Wales.1 Madog's father was Ednowain (Feiniad) ap Cynan and his mother was Gwerfyl verch Llydocca. He had six brothers and a sister, named Goronwy, Blettrws, Rotpert, Maredydd, Gwyn, Gruffydd and Ceinfryd. He was the oldest of the eight children.
