Aveline de Courtenay (Avelina de Courtenay, Ada de Courtenay) 
Aveline was born in 1272 in Okehampton, Devonshire, England.1 Aveline's father was Hugh de Courtenay and her mother was Eleanor le Despenser. Her paternal grandparents were Baron of Oakhampton John de Courtenay and Isabel de Vere; her maternal grandparents were 1st Baron le Despencer Hugh le Despencer II and Aline Basset. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Hugh, Philip, Eleanor, Margaret, Egeline and Isabell. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 55 on April 27th, 1327.1 -
