Lona 'Lonis' Bell was born on April 24th, 1897 in Kentucky. Lona 'Lonis' Bell's father was William Monroe 'Rowe' Pierce and her mother was Mary Atwood Warren. Her paternal grandparents were John Pierce and Cynthia Underwood. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Robert L., Henry Lewis, Ivy 'Ava' Joy Green, Julia F., Oklahoma and Cordelia 'Delia' D.. She died at the age of 77 on November 16th, 1974. She was buried on April 24th, 1897 in Otter Creek Baptist Church, LaRue County, Kentucky.-
