Sylvia Skaggs 
Sylvia was born on February 18th, 1769. Sylvia's father was Henry (The Long Hunter) Skaggs and her mother was Mary Thompson. Her paternal grandparents were James Skaggs and Rachel Susannah Moredock; her maternal grandparents were John Thompson and Mary Beason. She had five brothers and four sisters, named James, John, Solomon, David, Stephen, Sarah, Lucy, Polly and Rachel. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 96 on August 7th, 1865 in Montgomery County, Indiana.General Notes
