Paten Pate (Peyton?) 
Paten was born in 1800.1 Paten's father was Benjamin Allen Pate and his mother was Judith Pate. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Pate and Mary Allen; his maternal grandparents were Jeremiah Pate and Mary (Polly). He had a brother and three sisters, named Allen, Polly, Mildred and Nancy. He was the youngest of the five children.-
