Thompson Givens 
Thompson was born about 1804. Thompson's father was Thomas G. Givens and his mother was Elizabeth (Betsy) Kerr. His maternal grandparents were James Kerr and Jane Robertson. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John Allen "Jack", James Kerr, Thomas Kerr, Nathaniel Karr, William, Margaret, Elizabeth and Mary A.. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.General Notes
