Slaughter Lacy Givens 
Slaughter Lacy was born on November 9th, 1867 in Madisonville, Hopkins Co., Ky.. Slaughter Lacy's father was James Karr Givens and his mother was Mary Elvira "Vidie Mae" Lacy. His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Karr Givens and Jane Hopkins "Jennie" Givens. He had two brothers and a sister, named James Robb, Nick Karr and Emma Taylor. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 28 on June 24th, 1896 in Goodlettsville, TN.General Notes
