Arsinde, known as Blanche or Adelaide, was born in 0917 in Rouen, Seine-Inferieure, Normandy, France.1   Blanche or Adelaide's father was 1st Duke of Normandy Rollo (The Strong, The Ganger) Rognvaldsson and her mother was Poppa de Bayeux.  Her paternal grandparents were Earl of More and Romsdal Rognvald (The Wise) Eysteinsson I and Countess of More Ragnhild (Hilda) Hrolfsdottir; her maternal grandparents were Berenger de Bayeux and Miss de Rennes. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Longue Epaee, Robert, David, Gerletta, Kathlin and Crispina. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Walter and Adela.  She died at the age of 45 on October 14th, 0962.1
