Thomas Edward was born on January 2nd, 1890 in Lamar Co. TX. Thomas Edward's father was W. A. CLEMENT and his mother was Martha Ann SKIDMORE. His paternal grandparents were Andrew CLEMENT and Mary MCCLURE. He had three brothers and a sister, named Charles F., Coley, Drew and Sudie. He had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named William, Max, Myrtle, Ina, Gladys, Hazel and Marie. He died at the age of 78 on December 23rd, 1968 in Deport, Lamar Co TX. The death certificate for Thomas says he died of heart disease at the age of 76. He was living in the Deport Nursing Home, Deport, Lamar Co. TX at the time of his death, having been living there for the past 4 months. It lists his parents as W. A. Clement and Martha Skidmore.The record shows that he was married, but there is no record of the name of his wife on the death certificate. The "informant" who gave the family information to the Bureau of Vital Statistics, Texas State Dept. of Health was Mrs. Joe Smith.
