  Mary survived her husband by 26 years.  When she died she was buried in the Shady Grove Cemetery beside her grandmother, Frances McClure, and near her step-mother-in-law, Lavinia Clement.  Engraved on her tombstone is Mary Clement, Wife of Andy, with dates of birth and death.  Below that is the following inscription,  "A precious one from us has gone, A voice we loved is still, A place is vacant in our home, Which never can be filled, God in his wisdom has recalled, The book his love has given, And though the body now lies here, The soul is safe in heaven."
