Joseph L. BUCKLES 
Joseph L. was born on May 27th, 1848 in Elizabethtown, Hardin Co., Kentucky.1 Joseph L.'s father was Alfred BUCKLES and his mother was Susan Elizabeth BOARMAN. His paternal grandparents were John Buckles and Belinda HART. He had six brothers and three sisters, named James Francis, Sylvester L., John K., Charles Ignatius, Francis R., William S., Mary Belinda, Leuva Ann and Sarah. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 78 on September 16th, 1926 in Pawnee, Sangamon Co., Illinois.2 -
