Job's baptism took place on March 10th, 1780 in North Bradley.1  Job's father was William Horton and his mother was Ann Merrett.  His paternal grandparents were William Horton and Betty Gardner; his maternal grandparents were John Merrett and Mary Townsend. He had two brothers and a sister, named John, William and Ann.
