Robert's father was Robert Francis and his mother was Mary Bissee (Bissie).  His paternal grandparents were James Francis and Mary Butcher; his maternal grandparents were Anthony Bissey and Elizabeth Coller. He had a sister named Joanna.  He died in 1797.  He was buried on April 19th, 1797 in North Bradley.1
