Jane was born about 1794 and her baptism took place on August 3rd, 1800 in North Bradley.1  Jane's father was James Deacon and her mother was Mary Morris.  Her paternal grandparents were William Deacon and <Unknown>. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Benjamin, Esau, James, Esau, Mary, Sarah, Betty and Elizabeth.
