Betty's baptism took place on March 30th, 1766 in North Bradley.1  Betty's father was John Deacon and her mother was Mary Salter.  Her paternal grandparents were William Deacon Sen. and <Unknown>. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, John, Betty, Elizabeth, Mary, Sarah and Mary.
